    The International Ural Conference on Green Energy (UralCon 2018) provides an international forum for the presentation of modern technological advances in RESs research and applications, in energy and resource-efficient equipment. The conference will bring together individual researchers, engineers, practitioners and scientists as well as universities and industries to share the experiences, to present important results and to receive quality feedback. The purpose of the conference is to discuss the most promising recent developments and to search for the most innovative solutions in the field of green energy in terms of generation, transformation, distribution and consumption.

    Conferences topics:
    1. Renewable energy systems (wind, hydro, solar and geothermal power systems, wave and tidal power systems, hybrid RESs, control systems and automation RESs);
    2. Renewable energy integration in smart grids and microgrids;
    3. Smart grid energy systems;
    4. Energy savings through power electronics devices, electrical machines and drives, etc.

    Languages of the conference: English and Russian.

    All proposals presented at the conference will be published in the conference proceedings in "IEEE Xplore" (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers digital library) and indexed by SCOPUS. Proposal submission requirements can be found here. Upon completion of the conference, conference publications will also be electronically distributed among the participants.

    Important dates:
    - Deadline for paper submission is May 31, 2018;
    - Notification of the participation in the program is August 01, 2018;
    - The date of the conference are October 4-6, 2018.

    You should pay the registration fee before October 4, 2018. The registration fee per one paper for non-IEEE membership is 300 USD, for IEEE membership is 200 USD and for IEEE student membership is free. The registration fee needs to be paid only upon receipt of the official invitation letter, which will be sent to the corresponding author by email. The registration fee includes the publication of one paper, plenary and technical sessions, program and coffee breaks. Registration fee does not include the visa support, travel expenses, accommodation and meals. Accommodations and all additional services are to be paid by the participants. Bank account details will be specified individually to authors of accepted papers.
